Is your school prepared for the Quantum First Aid challenge?

Attending a first aid training course could prove to be an invaluable life skill. Not only does this specialist training provide an alternative learning environment, but it also allows for younger learners to become more risk-conscious and gives them the necessary skills to help both themselves and others in a medical emergency, and teaches vital lifesaving skills.

This program is highly engaging and interactive and delivered over a 3-4 hour period. All sessions are scenario-based allowing students to absorb and then apply the skills to other students throughout the day.

From September 2020 first aid training became an obligatory component within the English PSHE curriculum, with this in mind we have created a program that engages the students in teamwork, leadership skills, understanding a risk assessment, understanding the meaning of safety in a difficult potentially tense situation and promoting responsibility and compassion towards both colleagues and the wider community.
