Emergency First Aid at Work course
Quantum First Aid Training deliver the 6-hour Emergency First Aid at Work course at our training facility or at your chosen venue if you have 4 or more people to be trained and it is practical to do so. This course is designed for those in a low-risk workplace and covers basic First Aid skills training.
The Course content:
- First Aid legal requirements
- First Aid Kits: contents and use of
- Vital signs including: Level of Consciousness, Pulse, Breathing, Temperature and Colour
- Primary Survey: (DR ABC)
- Recovery Position: to include variations
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Familiarisation and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Choking
- Blood Loss
- Shock
- Medical Emergencies: heart attack, seizures
- Minor Injuries: burns, splinters, tick bites, bruising
